Dear Emerson Learning Community,
On October 22, I held my first monthly parent discussion group around the topic of technology. I greatly enjoyed the conversation I had with the participating parents and appreciated the opportunity to discuss the role of technology for parents and students in the Emerson learning community. We were also able to address questions on how parents and scholars can best use technology to support our scholars’ success.
As we approach the end of the first marking period, we have been stressing to the scholars the importance of getting registered for PupilPath and checking on their own progress. We hope that you find this resource valuable for yourself as well as we work together to ensure the success of all Emerson scholars.
The discussion group will meet on a monthly basis with our November meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 25 at 5:30 PM. We will have different topics every month. Parents can also send in topics they would like discussed to myself or Mr. Coles, our parent coordinator. I hope to see many of you at our next meeting!
Sincerely,
Mr. Lau
