Welcome Back Message
Welcome back to school, Emerson scholars. Hopefully, all of you had a marvelous and relaxing summer. I, Nowyhsin Mridula, your President, would like to encourage and greet all of you to this new school year, behalf of The Emerson School Student Government. The Emerson School Student Government members Amrin Khan (your Vice President), Dalma Chiclayo (your Secretary, Ms. Shiw, Ms. Harrison and I are always here to assist you, whenever you need it. That’s why never hesitate to ask us for help.
It’s a new school year, which means an opportunity to change your behavior, grades, opinions of others about you from last year through your actions and smart choices. Don’t be afraid to start over. This school year might be difficult for some of you, especially for the sixth graders. Sixth graders may struggle to adjust to this unfamiliar environment, but it will be a new experience for you and gaining the experiences will benefit you in future. Additionally, I encourage the seventh and eighth graders to help all sixth graders adjust to our school’s rules and procedures. Be their role model and motivate them in every possible way.
The Emerson School Student Government’s goal for this school year is to arrange more leisure and entertaining activities for the students. Student Government will strive their best to arrange more trips and parties as well. There will be numerous events in our school, such as awarding students for their sportsmanship and academic achievements, talent shows, which will provide an opportunity to illustrate your talent to everyone (another experience that you can gain) and many others entertaining events. I am looking forward to getting to know each and every sixth grader throughout this school year. Optimistically, we will have a remarkable school year together. All the best to all of you!!!!!
