Principal’s Letter to Parents

Dear Parent and Scholar,

 

Congratulations! Welcome to The Emerson School family.  We look forward to going on an exciting journey of education and discovery with you over the next three years!

 

Let me start by introducing myself.  My name is Mr. Jakub Lau and I am the proud principal of The Emerson School.  I am excited about all of the new possibilities this new school year will bring, and I look forward to collaborating with each parent as we prepare our Emerson scholars for High School, College, and great careers. At The Emerson School we are committed to create an environment where everyone feels welcome and respected.

New Students Bridge Program

All students must attend this program. They will be introduced to staff, review school policy and procedures, and receive assessments that will be used to create individual education plans and to build school culture and community as a team.
School Uniform Give Away & Students Early Registration

Please be advised that The Emerson School is a uniform school. The dress code for our students is a blue polo shirt or blue button down Oxford shirt both with The Emerson School logo (polo and shirt are only available thru Ideal Uniforms) Khaki pants, skirts, skorts or knee length shorts. The purpose of the uniform is to encourage students to “dress for success” and to come to school properly prepared for participating in the educational process.
